Objective
The main objective of the training workshop is to provide a comprehensive overview of Basic Bioinformatics Operations using Python. The webinar will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to meet and exchange ideas of common interests and discuss new challenges faced by our academic community working in this area from different institutions and universities worldwide. Our desire is to leave an impact on the participants to help them in the field of basic bioinformatics operations with applications.
The training workshop will be held through Zoom meetings and YouTube live streaming. Only limited participants will be able to join through zoom meetings others have to join through live streaming. One session of one and half an hour will be dealing with hands-on practicals for bioinformatics operations with applications and examples. Only the registered participants can attend this workshop and a certificate of participation will be awarded after attending the training workshop successfully. Registration is free for all participants.
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Its high-level built-in data structures, combined with dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make it very attractive for Rapid Application Development and use as a scripting or glue language to connect existing components together. Python’s simple, easy-to-learn syntax emphasizes readability and, therefore, reduces program maintenance costs. Python supports modules and packages, which encourages program modularity and code reuse. The Python interpreter and the extensive standard library are available in source or binary form without charge for all major platforms, and can be freely distributed.
The targeted audience includes research scholars, National and International faculty members from Universities/ Institutes, Engineers, people from academia, and Under Graduate & Post Graduate Students
